| How did you discover anime? |

I lived in Germany until the age of 10. There, I was exposed to a diversity of incredible shows like Rose of Versailles, Sailor Moon, Ganbare Kickers, Ai Shite Night, Hikari no Densetsu, Future Police Urashiman, Robin Hood no Daibouken, Saber Rider and the Star Sherrifs, Lady Georgie and others. When we moved to the UK, I found no anime on TV and went without until friends re-introduced me to it via Akira, Ninja Scroll, Cowboy Bebop, Cardcaptor Sakura, and Escaflowne at the age of 16. I have regularly watched anime ever since. |
| How much anime do you actually watch? Ever made the time to read manga too? |

I have a list on anime-planet that says I've watched 305 anime in total. How much I watch at a time depends on access and interest. I could be following 20+ shows at once or, as now, be following only one or two shows at a time. I have read only a handful of manga, although I generally restrict myself to those that continue an unfinished anime e.g. Berserk, Nana. My favourite manga so far is Pluto by Naoki Urasawa. |
| Other than the obvious anime addiction, what else do you enjoy? |

I am a keen writer, first and foremost. I combine this interest with anime by writing reviews for anime-planet and AUKN. I also love politics, which I studied at University, and political debate. I aim to research in the field of international relations. Reading, singing, and hiking pad out the rest of my time. |
