How did you discover anime?
On a warm spring day in 1994, a friend let me borrow a couple of his Guyver tapes. Yeah, I know, but I was 13 and the show's premise - an average school kid stumbles upon a biological armour of alien origin with which he proceeds to kick mutant arse - was perhaps understandably alluring. Experience (and age) brought perspective, however, and my tastes have changed somewhat.
How much anime do you actually watch? Ever made the time to read manga too?
Usually a couple of episodes a day. I buy 4 or 5 volumes of manga a month.
Other than the obvious anime addiction, what else do you enjoy?
Gaming. Japanese role playing games in particular, but I'm partial to most genres.

I listen to doom metal and electro-industrial music, and I read whenever I have the time and concentration.
Tell us all about yourself?
I like to spend most of my time alone. At best, people tire me out; at worst, they make me want to kill. There's not much else you'd be interested in.
What is it that you love about anime?
The idea that animation isn't just for kids. Anime provides a wide range of genres and styles and its potential is boundless.

Never fear; I will try to steal that £2 from you when your mind isn't malfunctioning. :)

I'm going to go and test some of the DVDs/games I've ordered lately - I've a backlog of eBay feedback I need to give. >__< It's actually becoming something like work to test the amount of stuff I order!

...oh yeah, and I forgot to add this to my message: I saw your Beck auction and was semi-tempted. What stopped me was my weekend auction spree and my lack of interest in guitars.

Hmmm, well, if you want to try, I'll happily send you my spare copy of WA2 to make us even. Chuck £2 my way (same as with P3 - I did say even =P) and I'll send it in your direction tomorrow morning. It's up to you. :)

I'll look forward to reading your reply to message next week.

I was wondering why you seemed to be in the process of replying one second and then just looking at the forum index. You need to learn that 'X' on a red background means something bad will happen.

By the way, are you sure your modded console can't do PS1 games? I now have an ex-rental copy of WA2 and a copy without a manual. I thought it'd repay you for P3 if you sent you one, but there wouldn't be much point if your PS2 doesn't do NTSC PS1 titles...
