| How did you discover anime? |

Was addicted to Dragonball Z in my younger years. Started watching Tenchi Muyo, then Sailor Moon. I liked watching this unique cartoon style, t'was different to everthing else that was on. And then Cardcaptors/Pokemon/Digimon came on to the scene, and suddenly everyone I knew was watching anime. Not that I knew it was called anime back then, but meh. My Pokemon stage lasted a tad longer then others, but I grew out of it when I hit twelve. Two years later I'm randomly looking up random stuff on the intarwebz, and I come across the term, 'anime'. Fast forward another three years later, and I'm pretty much addicted to watching it. ♥ |
| How much anime do you actually watch? Ever made the time to read manga too? |
| Oh, too much. Before it used to be a series a month, now if I've nothing else to do, it can be a series a night, if the storys' gripping enough. Only started buying manga this year, and I've accumulated a good amount, I must say. I much prefer having manga in my actual hand, compared to clicking on a computer screen, and it's always nice to look at your collection on your shelf. However, if a random, unknown series catches my eye, I'll hit up the first few chapters, just to see if it's worth buying. Anime-wise, I'll only buy anime if I absolutely adore the series. |
| Other than the obvious anime addiction, what else do you enjoy? |
| I'm big into music, and am almost constantly listening to it. It's like there's a soundtrack to my life. Ipod breaking = utter Hell. I adore going to concerts, and can play the guitar. Hoping to take up piano in the future. I find languages and their cultures fascinating. I'm fluent in Irish, did four years of German, and am currently learning Italian and Japanese. And down the line, maybe even Russian. Clothes are a big weakness, vintage in particular. I like wearing things different from the people around me. I tell horrendous jokes, and I enjoy a good book with a cup of tea, while sitting somewhere comfy. |

| In a rather boring town; born and raised. Doing random things is where I spend most of my days. Jokes aside, seriously. So I suppose there's no joke. Oh, well. I'm almost eighteen (underageb&, moi?), but I've the mentality of a ten year old. I find 'cute' things enthralling, and worship the likes of Sanrio and San-X. I'm too immature for my own good, but some people find that endearing. |

Just so we aren't clogging up the Cardcaptor Sakura thread :D Sei-chan looks soooo young in Tsubasa. He looks much closer to how he was when he and Subaru first meet when he was a about 17, but still different so it's cool to see him (though once again in the anime he looked stranger and just not right at all. I really hope Production I.G. will be animating when he comes back into the story to conclude things with his and Subaru's story). A real Tokyo Babylon TV series would be my utter dream. It is my favourite manga by far. But then I guess it's too steeped in the late 80s/early 90s to be fashionable nowadays, and that style is part of the charm of the series (Hokuto's outfits!) |
