When They Cry - Review (posted on Mar 24, 2008)
In order to satisfy my eBay bargain hunger, I picked up Vol. 1, 2 and the art box of When They Cry on eBay.co.uk. Not bad for a total of £13.50! Before actually getting into reviewing the anime, I'd like to talk about the When They Cry art box Geneon (RIP) released. The art box is pink, with... [Read more]
When They Cry: 1-8 (posted on Mar 21, 2008)
Just to keep my blog alive, here are my thoughts about the first 8 episodes of When They Cry... When They Cry 1-4 Finally got around to starting the most interesting show I've watched in a long time. I must say, I'm impressed with what I've seen. Mixing cuteness with scariness to great... [Read more]
The Devil is French (posted on Mar 12, 2008)
Anime has taught me many interesting things: I now have a vague understanding of certain Japanese words thanks to watching so much of the stuff. However, by far the most interesting lesson has been the one given by Gankutsuou: The Count of Monte Cristo, the lesson being that the devil prefers to... [Read more]
eBay Addiction (posted on Mar 10, 2008)
Has anyone else ever become addicted to eBay? It has me hooked. In the past I didn't use eBay much, it frustrated me when people always somehow managed to outbid me at the last second. Those people, all of whom surely had little no lives to be able to sit at their computers and bid 5 seconds... [Read more]

How did you discover anime?
I somehow found out there was an anime based on Star Ocean 2, the famous Enix PS1 RPG. I looked it up, watched it and was disappointed with what I had seen - A typical VG tie-in.

Although Star Ocean EX was a bad way to start anime, it did make me interested enough to download another anime series with VG ties: .hack//SIGN. I enjoyed .hack//SIGN much more than my previous anime series, falling in love with anime from that point onwards.
How much anime do you actually watch? Ever made the time to read manga too?
On a daily or weekly basis, not a lot... I haven't been following any series weekly since around the time Death Note ended.

I generally don't watch any anime for awhile and then find myself going on 13-26 episodes marathons. I'm lazy and find it difficult sometimes to find the motivation to start watching a series, but when I do start I usually can't stop watching.

I've watched a fair amount of anime, you can check out my MyAnimeList page if you're interested: http://myanimelist.net/pr...

Moving onto to manga, I don't really read any. I follow the Naruto manga due to Shippuuden being awful and have read parts of the Death Note manga to see what Madhouse cut from the anime...that's it.
Other than the obvious anime addiction, what else do you enjoy?
Well, I've named myself 'RPG-Lord' on various forums - You work it out. :)

RPG's (console) have been something I've enjoyed ever since Final Fantasy VII pulled me into the bright and colourful world of JRPG's. I was fairly lucky when I was younger, picking up games like Grandia, Star Ocean 2, Suikoden II (I split milk over it, case and all, ruining the resale value :[) and many others whilst randomly walking around the shops... Those were good times to be an RPG fan.

Sadly, I don't enjoy playing RPG's as much as I used to, finding myself collecting them rather than actually playing them. It started a few years back, strangely enough around the time when I was finally able to start collecting the NTSC games I had wanted to play for so long...
Tell us all about yourself?
I'm rather odd. Some people like me, most hate me, but not as much as I hate myself.

I have AS (Asperger's syndrome) and REALLY struggle with people, more offline than online but I'm not so great online. I'm passed caring these days and just act naturally... It's just a shame I'm a natural at being an arsehole.
What is it that you love about anime?
Cat girls.

My half of the conversation with Geek is on his page. That way everyone gets comments and we all look uber popular. Or something. Not that I care about that.

I bought the UK version of Patlabor 2 Limited Edition from Play. £32. Argh. I couldn't help myself.

And, for what it's worth, I also think you're a good chap.

Thanks for the comment! In return you get to be the first person to receive one from the great Rui ;)

Don't be so hard on yourself, you seem as though you have a good heart.
