How did you discover anime?
The first time I watched anime knowing it was anime was Outlawstar a couple of years ago.

Id stay up till 4am on school nights just to watch it.Ah the memories.

How much anime do you actually watch? Ever made the time to read manga too?
Well I used to watch anime a lot more than I do now but thats only because of college/life etc

I do still watch a lot of anime but would love to have the time to watch more.

As for manga, I love manga, love it, but for me nothing can compare to anime when it comes to raw emotion.
There are parts in certain anime when I literally got tingles up my spine, thats how hard they hit me.
Other than the obvious anime addiction, what else do you enjoy?
Well I LOVVE gaming, and have a particular fondnessfor Ninty games.
Bit of a fanboy actually:)

I am also highly intersted in things like science, alternate science, philosophy, just general "big picture" subjects, if you follow my drift.
Too much to get into here.
Love a good book also and
love playing football
Tell us all about yourself?
Maybe not all ey;)

What is it that you love about anime?
Well for me the immediete draw was the vast amount of ways it can express itself as an artform, through its unique visuals, cinematic flair, charachterisation etc, it really is head and shoulders above all other types of animation in my book.

Another thing that seperates anime is its directors, obviously there not all great but for the most part they seem to just put more heart and soul into their shows then western animators.

I remember reading somewhere that japanese animators consider themselves low down on the bigwig list and thus push themselves that much harder, and it shows.
THere really is nothing quite like a great anime.

Hey there; figured I'd let you know, I'm now up and running on that Drunkduck site you recommended. Same user name, and the same comic title too.

Let me know when you've got your comic up anyhow as I'd certainly like to check it out (your drawings on here are excellent!)

Yeah, that would be very cool! Getting to meet the legendary designer of AUKN's mascot! ^_^

I think I'll definately be going to DCU and studying Japanese, can't decide what particular course I want to do though. Might do it through Applied Languages, might do it with International Business!

Are you going to DCU, or do you just live in Dublin?
