Mischievous kiss (posted on May 15, 2008)
There’s not much to say about Itazura na Kiss that hasn’t already been said, ad nauseum, elsewhere. At this point, it’s generic shojo, vintage 1990; kind of like Fruits Basket, but not as immediately endearing. I’m two episodes in and the characters have yet to evolve... [Read more]
The crimson cat Kure-nai (posted on May 14, 2008)
I know, I’m way behind the loop on this one, but, for all my lag, I just wanted to say that the first two episodes of Kure-nai were outstanding. Having read wave after wave of praise for this series since its April debut, I was anxious to get it out of the way, but, for [...]. [Read more]
Hear the truth I used to overlook (posted on May 11, 2008)
Until I’ve caught up with some of the other spring anime, I’m stalling on watching more of Kaiba, but for the sake of curiosity, I can’t stop myself from streaming an occasional clip on YouTube too. This one excerpt from episode 3 is wonderful. You don’t need to... [Read more]
When the sky turned blue (posted on May 10, 2008)
Gone a bit quiet around here, ain’t it? Last update was a couple of weeks ago, so I figured I’d pop-in a quick “Hello, not dead yet”. The truth is that, since finishing Ghost Hound, I’ve not been watching nearly enough (good) anime, so, aside from a few sarcastic... [Read more]
Late to the party: Golgo 13, Himitsu - The Revelation (posted on May 10, 2008)
If manliness were a disease, it couldn’t get much worse than Golgo 13. The aptly named Duke Togo doesn’t do emotion, he does big guns, and his legendary aim is as precise with the hearts’ of fine ladies as when trained on the “meat-filled football” (Golgo’s... [Read more]

How much anime do you actually watch? Ever made the time to read manga too?
On average I suppose I've been watching an episode of anime a day for the last three or four years. It's becoming clear to me this isn't fad that's going to go away; I'm properly addicted to the Japanese cartoons! There is too much (that I want) to watch.

It's not that I don't read manga, but I'm not nearly as into it as I am with anime. I rarely find myself as deeply immersed in the pages of manga as I do with the audio visual delight that is anime. That's just the kind of person I am, I guess.
Other than the obvious anime addiction, what else do you enjoy?
Aside from normal social stuff like checking out the latest movies down at the cinema, I spend the rest of my spare time obsessed with (playing and watching) football (go Cambridge United!), developing websites and writing on my blog; I'm fascinated by interacting with readers of my websites, and maintaining a blog is a great way to connect with like-minded people over the 'net.

You've got a darn well popular Shout Box now haven't you, Just thought I'd say that.

Plus I wanted to try out the HTML here.

Thanks, i thought Seirei no Moribito was worth a mention, specially for the music, it just seems to work extremely well with the series. I just really need to see the final episode now.

now comes the confusion, do I reply in my shoutbox, your shoutbox, the email I got with this same message? lol. I chose the email but will again say Gash Bell is quite a good show full of comedy, action, great/loveable characters and yes the end is supposedly abrupt cause Toei made it that way (I've yet to find out what they did). here's a clip of 1 of my fave Gash Bell moments http://www.youtube.com/wa...
