MVM at the London Expo and newest anime acquisitions for...

MVM ENTERTAINMENT are proud to be sponsoring the May 2007 Expo on the 26th and 27th May.

Come visit the stand for a host of anime bargains and pick up an MVM trailer disc, which features a selection of MVM’s upcoming titles for the rest of the year!

MVM will also be announcing a raft of new titles that’s bound to have anime fans excited!

BLOOD TO FLOW!

MVM will be kicking off their summer releases with the first volume of Trinity Blood in July. Set in the distant future after the destruction brought about by an Armageddon. The war between vampires and humans continue to persist. In order to protect the humans from the vampires, The Vatican has to rely on other allies to counter the situation. The protagonist, a priest called Peter Abel Nightroad, travels through the countries as a representative for The Vaticans. However, he is also part of "Ax", a special operations group controlled by the Cardinal Catherina. His encounter with a young girl called Esther will determine the struggle and survival between the human race and the vampires.

SUPERNATURAL PHENOMENON!

Also due out next year from MVM is the highly anticipated supernatural anime series Ergo Proxy. In a future where the world has been ravaged by a nuclear apocalypse, there exists salvation in a domed city named "Romdeau", where humans and their android servants, the autoreivs, live in. Under the implementation of complete management control, it is a paradise where feelings are literally discarded, and the governing council dictates the way of life the citizens should live. But this utopian landscape is soon broken by a series of mystifying murders…

FELINE ADVENTURES!

MVM have also added the eagerly awaited Black Cat to their acquisitions. Train Heartnet is known as the Black Cat for his quick reactions to attacks and his title as Number Thirteen as member of the secret society Chronos. He is an unbeatable master gunman, a cold and unfeeling killer until he meets Saya, a bounty hunter, or "sweeper". She teaches him the value of a human life, and that one should live in order to repent for one's mistakes rather than die because of them. Through her, Train learns to love and care for other people as he too becomes a sweeper and travels with his partner Sven and the mysterious girl Eve.

GO BERSERK FOR MVM!

Guts known as the Black Swordsman, seeks sanctuary from the demonic forces that pursue himself and his woman, and also vengeance against the man who branded him as an unholy sacrifice. Aided only by his titanic strength, skill and sword, Guts must struggle against his bleak destiny, all the while fighting with a rage that might strip him of his humanity. Berserk is a dark and brooding story of outrageous swordplay and ominous fate, in the theme of Shakespeare's MacBeth.

BOXSETS GALORE

The rest of 2007 will see MVM releasing some of the most eagerly anticipated anime box sets ever! Look out for gory Gantz and the wild west extravaganza that is Trigun! There will be plenty of Samurai action too with the box set for the Kurosawa based Samurai 7 and the “Kill Bill of anime”, Samurai Champloo.
