Shingeki no Bahamut: Genesis Gets a Sequel

A sequel to the fantasy anime Shingeki no Bahamut: Genesis has been announced today by the staff of the series who were attending an orchestra event.

The first series proved to be a rip-roaring adventure that beat some audience suspicions that it was a cash-in since it is based on a series of card games launched in 2012 by Cygames. It went on to become popular title in the autumn 2014 season thanks to great visuals thanks to MAPPA’s animation and a likeable central cast. Direction came courtesy of Keiichi Satou (Tiger & Bunny) with scripts overseen by Keiichi Hasegawa (The Big O).
