Noragami Renewed For Second Season

Just over a year has passed since the final episode of Noragami, Studio Bones’ twelve episode anime adaptation of Adachitoka’s supernatural manga, was broadcast in Japan. The latest issue of the Japanese Monthly Shonen Gangan magazine has revealed that the series will be returning however, with an all new season that reunites the cast and crew of the 2014 television anime.

Kotaro Tamura (Wolf Children assistant director) is returning to the helm of the project alongside character designer Toshihiro Kawamoto (Cowboy Bebop) and Deko Akao (Arakawa Under the Bridge), who will be handling the series’ composition. The cast will once again me led by Hiroshi Kamiya (Attack On Titan‘s Levi), who will be voicing Yato.

Kodansha Comics have been publishing the original manga in English. FUNimation Entertainment has licensed the anime adaptation for release in the United States; but a UK release has yet to be announced.
