Anime Limited To Simulcast Seraph Of The End

The animation studio behind the critically acclaimed Attack On Titan will be sinking their teeth into a brand new anime adaptation this coming April, although Wit Studios will have to hold the garlic when it comes to their adaptation of Takaya Kagami and Yamato Yamamoto’s dark fantasy manga Seraph of the End, which the Glasgow-based distributor Anime Limited has now confirmed that they will be simulcasting to multiple key territories.

With the series slated to premiere on 4th April 2015, Anime Limited have confirmed that the series will be simulcast in English, French and German to the following territories: United Kingdom, Republic of Ireland, Isle of Man, Austria, Benelux, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Iceland, Monaco, Norway, Poland, Sweden and Swizterland.

Following all adults on earth succumbing to an unknown deadly virus, the surviving children were taken over and treated like livestock by the new ruling species – vampires. Some of the remaining orphans, such as Yuichiro Hyakuya escaped death by giving their blood to their new overlords but after joining a Japanese army unit dedicated to exterminating vampires, Yuichiro has hopes that the Moon Demon Company will help him get revenge on those he blames for the death of his family.

Viz Media has been serialising the original monthly manga in their Weekly Shonen Jump digital magazine since October 2014.
