MVM Entertainment Announces The Ambition of Oda Nobuna
This April, MVM Entertainment will be treating us to a not-very accurate history lesson with Madhouse’s The Ambition of Oda Nobuna, which they will be releasing in the United Kingdom on 6th April 2015 on both DVD and blu-ray formats.
Yoshiharu Sagara thought he knew his Japanese history, but when he finds himself in the past and in front of the legendary Oda Nobunaga…boy, does he realise how wrong he was: Oda Nobuna is in fact, a cute girl! Not only that, but one of the first things he does is accidentally get one of the Sengoku era’s most important figures killed! With a vacancy in the history books though, perhaps the best thing to do is to ally with someone with the potential to become one of the country’s most powerful warlords?
The Ambition of Oda Nobuna was originally simulcast by Crunchyroll when it aired in 2012 and was released in North America by Sentai Filmworks.
