“Nintendo Anime Channel” Launching on Nintendo 3DS Next Month

During Nintendo’s “Nintendo Direct” segment earlier today, the Japanese gaming company revealed a slew of new video game titles and information on previously revealed titles that make up the company’s Spring 2015 slate, including release dates for the New Nintendo 3DS and New Nintendo 3DS XL systems, as well as highly anticipated games such as The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D and Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate.

One of their new announcements though, was that their current generation of handheld systems will be receiving an application next month called the Nintendo Anime Channel. This free application will allow users to watch episodes of anime series’ that have been adapted from Nintendo properties, with the following titles confirmed to be available to watch when the system launches:

  • Inazuma Eleven
  • Kirby: Right Back At Ya!
  • Pokémon

The Nintendo Anime Channel will be available to download from the Nintendo 3DS eShop from 13th February 2015.
