Anime Limited Confirms Kill la Kill Volume 1 Plans

This December, Anime Limited will be kicking off their highly anticipated release of Studio Trigger’s adrenaline fueled Kill la Kill television anime with the first of three volumes. Although there had been a lot of speculation about their plans, today, the distributor has confirmed the details for their release of the first volume:

The first volume will contain the first 9 episodes, with the rest of the series currently slated to be released over 3 volumes (as opposed to Aniplex of America’s 5). It will also come packaged in a rigid box that holds a two-disc tray digipack, an art card certifying the limited edition release’s number and a 188 page booklet of key art and storyboard illustrations. The discs will feature both English and Japanese 2.0 audio tracks, English subtitles and an English signs track.

The blu-ray edition of the release has a suggested retail price of £59.99, while the DVD equivelant is set at £49.99. A standard edition has yet to be confirmed, but Anime Limited did note that one wouldn’t likely to be released until the latter half of 2015.

Will you be buying Kill la Kill?
