Pokemon Origins Now Available On iTunes

Last year, in the middle of all the hype for the first Nintendo 3DS instalments in Game Freak’s Pokémon video game franchise, the Japanese animation company OLM, Inc (Inazuma Eleven, Yo-Kai Watch), Production I.G. (Ghost in the Shell) and Xebec (To Love Ru) collaborated to go back to the very first games in the franchise, adapting the original story of the Gameboy pair Pokémon Red and Pokémon Green into a 4-part series called Pokémon Origins.

The mini-series was made available for streaming shortly after its broadcast on Japanese TV before being released on both DVD and Blu-Ray in its native country (which was followed by a DVD release in Australia). Today though, The Pokémon Company released the entirety of the series on the iTunes digital service, with each episode being available in standard definition for £1.89 or high definition for £2.49 per episode.
