Anime Limited Reveal MCM London Comic Con Plans

Next week, various companies from across the entertainment spectrum will be gathering at the ExCel arena in London next weekend for the MCM London Comic Con to show off their various wares and to see the fans who have enjoyed them already. Various big names will be in attendence, including video game companies like Nintendo and Tecmo Koei, as well as anime companies like Manga Entertainment UK and MVM Entertainment.

Today, the UK anime distributor Anime Limited revealed their plans for the event:

  • The long-delayed DVD release of Outlaw Star will be available to purchase from their booth before its currently scheduled release date, as will the complete DVD release of Cowboy Bebop.
  • Stickers! Anime Limited will have sets of 4 stickers based on a number of their shows, which will be given away with every purchase (while stocks last)
  • Anime Limited staff around the event wearing Anime Limited branded t-shirts (with a “particular theme”) will be giving out stickers and art cards too.
  • Two posters will be available exclusively from their stand while stocks last. On Saturday, they will be giving out aCowboy Bebop poster (which will be limited to 125 copies), while the Sunday will see them giving away a Patema Inverted poster (with the same limitation of 125 copies) – so first come, first served!

They will also be announcing a total of five new license acquisitions! Two of these will be made online on the Thursday before the event, while two will be announced during Sunday’s anime industry panel and the final one will be displayed at their stand.
