Patema Inverted Kickstarter funded within one day
Earlier this week, the Glasgow-based anime distributor aptly named Anime Limited revealed that they would be going to the crowd-funding website Kickstarter to try and gather £16,000 in order to release an “Ultimate Edition” of the movie (with mock-ups provided above). Today, the Kickstarter campaign was launched, offering backer rewards such as an advance copy of the movie for half the estimated retail price to even having your name listed as an Associate Producer and before it had even hit the 24 hour mark, the goal had been met with 394 backers pledging a total of £16,393 at time of writing.
