Soul Eater NOT! Main cast and staff announced
Ever since the announcement last month that Studio BONES will be returning to the Death Weapon Meister Academy and the world of Death City with their upcoming adaptation of Atsushi Ohkubo’s Soul Eater NOT! spin off manga, it seems like the news has never stopped coming in.
Series protagonist Tsugumi Harudori will be voiced by Haruka Chisuga, whose 22nd birthday is actually in just over two weeks. Haruka Chisuga’s a relatively new actress on the scene and this role should become her most notable yet, with her most well known prior role being the Zetsumetsu Kigu Shojo Amazing Twins OAV.
Conversely, her ditzy classmate Meme Tatane will be played by Aoi Yuki, who despite being two months younger, has already amassed quite the portfolio with roles ranging from Iris in Pokémon: Black and White to Madoka Kaname in Puella Magi Madoka Magica.
The rich and rather elite Anya Hepburn will have her voice provided by Saori Hayami, who played Ayase Aragaki in Oreimo and Yukino Yukinoshita in My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU.
The series will be directed by Masakazu Hashimoto (Tari Tari) with character designs by Satoshi Koike (Cuticle Detective Inaba).
