Japanorama in Leicester

The National Space Centre in Leicester will be hosting an event all about Japanese culture on May 4th and 5th with Japanorama. The event features many special guests, events and film screenings.

There will be an artist alley where you can meet some of the best manga artists in the UK like Emma Viecelli, Hayden Scott-Baron and Chie Kutsuwada.

Films will be screened thanks to Third Window Films who are bringing the brilliant The Woodsman & the Rain, a title that comes highly recommended from this AUKN staff member.

If you’ve built up a hunger after indulging in all of this culture you can try out wagashi & sweets with Kitaya Wagashi Japanese Bakery, shave-ice desserts with Nice Shave, Ice Shave and you can try out making Japanese food with expert Yuki, a professional chef who has become quite a hit with bloggers with her teaching methods and also has a book coming out in June all about making Sushi at Home!

Want Japanese goods? Tokyo Main Street will sees retailers like AnimUK, Artbox, Gundam Mad, Genki Gear and United Publications binging their items.
