Hanasaku Iroha: Home Sweet Home Movie Details

The movie sequel for Hanasaku Iroha is only a couple of months away from a theatrical release but it is only now that details surrounding the plot have been released and thanks to twitter user @ultimatemegax who translated it, anime fans in the west have a better idea about the plot of the movie.

Synopsis

Ohana has grown accustomed to living in the hot springs inn her grandmother manages, Kissuisou. One day, the daughter of a manager for Kissuisou’s rival inn, Yuina, comes to Kissuisou for training to become a landlady herself. As Ohana is observing her training, she finds “a certain item” in the storeroom while cleaning.

A “certain item”? If it’s a book written in Sumerian, let’s hope she doesn’t read it out aloud! The anime movie sees the return of staff and cast from the TV series with Kanae Itō taking the lead ole of Ohana and Aki Toyosaki voicing Nako. It is directed by Masahiro Ando with a script from Mari Okada and P.A. Works animating and it will be released on March 9th, 2013.
