Visual Scene Seeks Funds for Physical Copy Sat, 18 Aug 2012

Visual Scene have launched a fund-raising project to help get a physical copy of the magazine into stores. Here are the details:

Admittedly, we are not as charismatic and opinion-forming as Winston Churchill (we don't even know if that's possible!), we have no opportunity to welcome musicians whose popularity is on a par with David Bovie's and when it comes to the number of copies sold we lose with J. K. Rowling in spectacular way – but from more than one and half year, we provide you the latest news from the world of Japanese pop culture – not only in United Kingdom...

In Visual Scene you will find:

MANGA and ANIME, LIGHT NOVELS, VISUAL NOVELS, J-DRAMA, MUSIC, VIDEO GAMES, MOVIES – all of these topics are covered in different forms – articles, characteristics of favorite characters, reviews of various productions (both well-known and forgotten)…so many hobbies, so much variety.

INTRIGUING STORIES, LIGHT NOVEL SERIES and COMICS – yeah, from the beginning we present to you a short manga tales. We have recently begun issuing a "Namaeketten" & "Undead Fairy Tales" series, which are no different from the Japanese standards - both in terms of graphics and storyline. In our magazine you could have already read the first two chapters of "Yakuza Ties: Spring" - the original light novel linking growing up and slice of life themes with the yakuza plot. We strive to provide you an exciting, sometimes difficult to read fantasy, s.f. and horror stories/fanfics - always closely connected to Japan.

ECCHI & FICTIONALIZED INTERVIEWS – read how one of our editors is talking with cute anime girls! Unusual plots - sometimes serious, sometimes funny…always exciting!

Reports from the MAJOR UK CONVENTIONS, interviews with POPULAR JAPANESE BANDS, ILLUSTRATORS, and COSPLAYERS KNOWN THROUGHOUT THE WORLD, information about CRAZY JAPANESE INVENTIONS.

COOL ANIME POSTERS

LITTLE SOMETHING ABOUT THE JAPANESE SOCIETY– things that might be surprising, even shocking when getting to know Japan.

Today we officially announce that the project is active and the rewards are waiting for their owners - wanted to be a manga character? Or find yourself on a movie set? Everyone will find something for yourself - see what we have prepared for you;)
