Tanken Driland Episode 0
The official YouTube channel for the TV anime Tanken Driland began streaming a three-minute “Episode 0” last week.
The TV anime is based on a popular mobile fantasy game named Driland which was created by the game developer Gree. In the game, players search for treasure in dungeons and battle monsters by using cards. The director of the show is Toshinori Fukuzawa (Toriko, Lovely Complex), series composition is handled by Miyuki Kurei and Yōichi Takahashi (Toriko) and Yuki Hayashi (Kyousogiga) is overseeing character design.
Voice actors involved include Yōko Hikasa (Mio in K-ON!), Motoko Kumai (Kaoru in Flame of Recca), Kanako Miyamoto (Naru in Eureka 7:AO), Kouki Uchiyama (Natsuki in tsuritama) and Kenji Nojima (Masaki in Time of Eve).
Toei Animation is producing the series. There is also a manga currently running in Shueisha’s Jump Square magazine. The anime will premiere on television on the 7th of July.
