Girls und Panzer Trailer Fri, 18 May 2012

The official website for the TV anime Girls und Panzer is streaming a trailer ahead of its Autumn debut.



Synopsis

The story follows high school girls who drive real life tanks in teams during competitions set up by their military school.

The voice actresses involved include Mai Fuchigami (Mai in Miracle Train), Ai Kayano (Mogana in Medaka Box), and Yuka Iguchi (Tsukiji Araragi in Bakemonogatari).

Tsutomu Mizushima (Another, Squid Girl) is directing this anime while Reiko Yoshida (K-ON!) is writing scripts and Isao Sugimoto (Ben-To) is animation director. Character designs being handled by Humikane Shimada (Sky Girls, and Takeshi Nogami (Strike Witches).

Ryouichi Saitaniya is making a tie-in manga series that will be serialised in Comic Flapper magazine in June.
