Love Live! School Idol Project Anime Series Green-Lit Mon, 20 Feb 2012

The official website for Love Live has announced an anime series of Love Live! School Idol Project which will get a release next year.



Story:

Otonokizaka High School is in danger of closing down because of a lack of new students. A group of nine high school girls decide to become idols and increase the numbers of students by promoting the school.

This is a joint media project between Sunrise studio, the recording company Lantis, and Dengeki G’s magazine, and it allows fans to vote on the future artistic direction of this fictional idol group via polls.
