New Aquarion Evol Trailer Streamed	Sun, 4 Dec 2011
A new trailer for Satelight studio’s latest take the giant mecha anime Aquarion franchise has been released on Media Factory’s official YouTube channel. Set 12,000 years after the first Aquarion television series in a futuristic city modelled on Venice, a new cast of characters will be piloting a new Aquarion robot and fighting new enemies. The production team include original creator Shoji Kawamori as series director, Yusuke Yamamoto (Welcome to the NHK) as director, Mari Okada (Fractale, GOSICK) as screenwriter and Yoko Kanno is back to provide music through the theme song, Kimi no Shinwa (Your Myth) performed by AKINO with Bless 4, which can be heard in the trailer. The series will roll out with a preview special on the 2nd January with the new series receiving its premiere with a one-hour special in Japan on 8th January, 2012.
