New Last Exile: Fam, the Silver Wing Trailer Tue, 16 Aug 2011

When the announcement of Gonzo studios decision to make a sequel to its classic series Last Exile was broken, Anime UK News forums erupted in joy. Now the official website has a new trailer is online in advance of Fam, the Silver Wing’s October premiere.

Despite having a brand new story and cast, the return of Last Exile also sees the return of key members of the original production including original director Koichi Chigira, original character designer Range Murata and composer Hitomi Kuroishi. Interestingly, the trailer shows the return of Dio to the show, much changed from when we last saw him in the original series.

Funimation has already licensed this for US but there is no word on a UK distributor.
