Kokuriko-Zaka Kara Trailer Sat, 2 Jul 2011

A trailer has been released for Studio Ghibli's upcoming movie, Kokuriko-Zaka Kara.Based on Chizuru Takahashi and Tetsuro Sayama’s 1980’s manga, the film will be directed by Goro Miyazaki.



This coming of age tale takes place in 1963 Yokohama and follows the coming of age of a normal high school girl named Komatsuzaki. Her sailor father has been missing since an accident and her mother is a photographer who travels abroad quite frequently. Komatsuzaki helps run a lodging house with the rest of her family. The film follows her life as well as her friendship with two boys, school newspaper member Shun Kazama, and student council president Mizunuma.
