Madhouse Studios (Redline, Summer Wars) have revealed information on their adaptation of a popular light novel by the name, Recollection of a Certain Professional Airship, published in 2008.  The story takes place in a world divided between two powers at war and focuses on issues such as empathy and love between people of different social status. The production staff features veterans who have worked on series such as Appleseed, Gankutsuou: The Count of Monte Cristo, Sakura Wars. The anime is utilises CG for high quality flight scenes and the film is expected to go on general exhibition in the second half of 2011.
