Anime UK News has received information from Ireland’s biggest anime convention, Eirtakon:

The Eirtakon committee is excited to announce the date, venue and special early-bird prices for Eirtakon
2011, with pre-registration open from today.

Attendees can simply go to the special pre-registration page on our website here to avail of a very special offer of €20 for a weekend pass!  This early bird offer is limited to the first 300 signups and
will close no later than May 31st, so make sure to get in early to get the discount!  Once the early bird closes, standard weekend pre-reg ticket prices will be €25.  On the door at the weekend of the
convention, prices will be €25 for a weekend pass and €18 for a day pass.

A weekend pass not only guarantees full access to Eirtakon 2011 from the minute the doors open to the minute they close, but also secures every registrant a FREE convention t-shirt!  Everyone who signs up on will be sent an email confirming their registration.  No time like the present - book now and save!

The 7th year of Ireland's largest and longest-running anime convention will take place once again in The Helix, a purpose-built event venue 10 minutes from the centre of Dublin.  Eirtakon was first held in The
Helix in 2010 and proved to be a massive success; with 2011 the committee has secured use of the entire venue for the full weekend - guaranteeing this year to be the biggest anime event ever seen in
Ireland!

Eirtakon 2011 is moving back to its traditional timeslot of the second weekend of November, the weekend of the 11th - 13th.  This year will be bigger again, with more events, more speakers, more exclusive anime screenings, more special guests and an even better experience at Ireland’s largest anime weekend!
