From Eirtakon Press release:
"The Eirtakon committee is proud to announced that published artist Anna Fitzpatrick has been confirmed as the 2nd guest for Eirtakon 2010, Ireland’s largest anime event set to take place the weekend of Octobeer 15th – 17th. Anna first made an appearance at Eirtakon last year, where she gave a crash course on manga drawing to a packed room on the Sunday. This year she will be doing two panels – Manga 101 on Saturday morning, and Manga 201 on Sunday afternoon. Anna is a published artist having last year released Between Worlds, a series of much-praised comics. “We’re really delighted to have Anna back for a 2nd year,” said Stephen Fox, Eirtakon 2010's director, “She’s a fantastic artist and we can’t wait to see her classes this year.” In addition, the full schedule for panels for the Eirtakon weekend has been confirmed, and you can find the full list here. This year’s panels schedule is hugely expanded from previous years and is packed full, with talks and workshops happening from the minute the doors open on Saturday morning until closing time on Sunday evening. In particular, our guest of honour Spike Spencer will be doing no less than three panels – that’s one per day! Be sure to get there early as it will no doubt be a packed seminar room! Add in Spike panels, all our special workshops and talks, a huge list of traders and artists, the packed screening schedule and world-class facilities and you have the biggest anime event ever to happen in Ireland! What more could you ask for?"
