Crunchyroll to Celebrate the Work of Acclaimed Anime Director Makoto Shinkai on March 5, 2010
Hailed as the "Next Miyazaki" by The Japan Times, Crunchyroll and CoMix Wave Films celebrates Global Shinkai Day and will honor the works of director and creator extraordinaire Makoto Shinkai beginning Saturday, March 5, 2010 at 5:00 pm (PST) and ending on Sunday, March 7, 2010 at 5:00 pm (PST). Crunchyroll is honoring the celebrated work of the famed creator and director with 48 hours of Shinkai's most celebrated works (5 CENTIMETERS PER SECOND, VOICES OF A DISTANT STAR and A PLACE PROMISED IN OUR EARLY DAYS) to all Crunchyroll members, of selected global territories, for free and at up to 480p.
