A new Evangelion manga drawn by Takumi Yoshimura has been announced at the Kadokawa's Asuka magazine. Shin Seiki Evangelion: Ikari Shinji Tantei Nikki (Neon Genesis Evangelion: Shinji Ikari's Detective Journal) is a collaboration with Evangelion's anime studios Gainax and Khara. The comedy re-imagines Shinji Ikari, the main character of the Evangelion story, as a detective.
