| Sony launch video download service with new Bones anime | Thu, 17 Jul 2008 |
|
Earlier this week, Sony launched their video download service with several anime series, many of them from US distributor Funimation (Afro Samurai, Samurai 7, [...]), but one particular that hasn't even been aired in Japan yet. That is Xam'd: Lost Memories, the latest mecha anime from Studio Bones, makers of Eureka Seven and RahXephon. The first episode of Xam'd: Lost Memories was released on Tuesday evening by Sony in high and low definition formats, subtitled in English. Of course, it's exciting news, but unfortunately, Sony won't be launching their video download service in Europe until 2009. |
