Seirei no Moribito finds new home at Media Blasters Thu, 27 Mar 2008

Seirei no Moribito, a fantasy adventure TV series animated by the acclaimed Production "Ghost in the Shell" IG, has been licensed by Media Blasters for US DVD distribution. The series, also known as Guardian of the Sacred Spirit, was originally acquired by Geneon, but after they collapsed last year, many of their titles, including this series, were placed on an indefinate hiatus. It's expected that more of Geneon's anime catalogue, from Black Lagoon to Hellsing, will be cherry-picked by other US anime distributors.
