New Casshern TV anime is in production Thu, 27 Mar 2008

A new anime TV series based on the 1973 vintage super-sentai classic Casshern is underway in Japan and set to be broadcast during the autumn of 2008 with animation by Madhouse. This will be the third remake of Casshern, the other two being the 1993 OVA series "Casshan: Robot Hunter" and the big-budget live action blockbuster of 2004 (of same name); both of which happen to be out on UK DVD.
