| Dubbed Tales from Earthsea gets UK cinema run in August | Thu, 5 Jul 2007 |

It appears that Studio Ghibli's newest movie Tales from Earthsea (directed by Hayao Miyazaki's son, Goro Miyazaki) will be getting full theatrical treatment in the UK; according to Optimum Releasing, the movie will begin its (limited) UK cinema run on 3rd August. Somewhat surprisingly, the movie has been dubbed into English too; the BBFC note (having rated the movie as a PG) that the high profile voice cast includes the likes of Timothy Dalton, Mariska Hargitay and Willem Dafoe. Given the US release of 'Earthsea has been stuck in legal-hell, it was not expected that an English dub would be produced for the movie's releases outside of the US.
