Anime News Network has published a further collection of statements from anime director Mamoru Oshii concerning his newest movie, The Sky Crawlers. The film will be a shade different from Oshii's previous efforts ("Ghost in the Shell", "Patlabor"), given that at it's heart, Sky Crawlers concerns two young war-time aeroplane pilots and hence, is intended to speak to a younger generation than that his typically middle-aged work.
Read the full statement over at Anime News Network, where Oshii describes his feelings about the film and it's intended audience.
