'Blue Drop' Anime Confirmed Wed, 20 Jun 2007

On the cover of this month's issue of Japanese magazine 'Champion Red', it confirms that an anime adaptation of the manga series 'Blue Drop' will be created. The anime will be titled "Blue Drop ~Tenshi-tachi no Gikyoku~ (Translated as 'Blue Drop - The Angels' Play'). To view the cover of this months issue of Champion Red, click here.

The series will be produced by Bestack and Asahi Production. Gonzo will be doing the 3D modeling work and the series will be directed by Masahiko Ohkura (whose other directing credits include the 'Neon Genesis Evangelion: The End Of Evangelion' movie and the 'Yukikaze' 5 episode OVA).
