SmartMoney.com look at 4Kids Fri, 1 Jun 2007

SmartMoney.com, a financial news website run by Dow Jones and Hearst, is featuring a look at the financial situation and prospects of 4Kids Entertainment in light of the company releasing its earnings report for the first quarter of 2007.

Analysts are still rating 4Kids as either a hold or a buy due to a strong balance sheet and the potential for success of 4Kids' upcoming properties such as the Chaotic CCG.

However, 4Kids has now posted four straight losing quarters. Yu-Gi-Oh! and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles account for 37% of net sales but have hit their peak and are beginning to decrease in popularity.
