Tekkon Kinkreet set for UK DVD release Thu, 19 Apr 2007

Play.com are listing the Sony-Pictures licensed Tekkon Kinkreet as being set for a UK DVD release on 3rd September, 2007 (the same release date as Paprika).

Tekkon Kinkreet is an acclaimed anime movie from 2006 that is well known in the anime community for being one of the first features directed by a foreigner in Michael Arias. It was adapted from a manga by the respected Taiyo Matsumoto (Ping Pong) and animated by Studio 4C - the visionary animation house behind the likes of Noiseman Sound Insect and Comedy. The soundtrack was composed by English electronica band "Plaid". Click here to see the Tekkon Kinkreet trailer.
