Revelation Films take-over FUNimation DVD releases in the UK Tue, 14 Nov 2006
The latest twist in an eventful few days for the UK anime industry is that UK Anime Net have managed to confirm that Revelation Films, starting 1st January, will succeed MVM in releasing FUNimation's anime catalogue in the UK. No more information is provided, though Revelation do have a contact e-mail address - so any concerned anime fans should start sending e-mails their way.

Revelation Films already work with Navarre (FUNimation's parent company) to help distribute their other UK labels and this change over is now seen as a "streamlining" move on Navarre's part. Ultimately how all this effects the end product - namely FUNimation's anime DVD releases in the UK - remains to be seen.
