I'm pretty sure Crispin Freeman said something about having just dubbed the nth episode a month or so ago, so I assume work must be progressing on them.

MangaUK are teasing on Twitter that they have some big announcements to make very soon.

Judging from recent tweets, I imagine Puella Magi Madoka Magica has a strong chance of being one of them...or maybe even the cursed Dragonball Z xD.

Some re-releases of Manga UK's back catalogue of titles that were released on VHS back in the 90's to be re-released on DVD or even Blu-Ray at a budget price would be nice. There is alot of decent back catalogue Manga UK titles that were released back then that are very difficult or expensive to track down nowadays on VHS. e.g. RG Veda, Cyber City Oedo 808 (UK Soundtrack by Rory McFarlane version), Midnight Eye Goku, Wicked City (Manga UK dubbed version), Angel Cop, Rumic World series (Fire Tripper, Laughing Target, Mermaid Forest, Maris The Wondergirl), Lensman, Venus Wars, Bio Booster Armour Guyver (1989 - 1992 OAV Series), Bounty Dog, The Wind Of Amnesia, Devil Man etc etc.

That would be pretty excellent news, but if they can't even shift enough copies of new series' to make them worthwhile I doubt they'll have much luck selling stuff that "looks old" to a new audience. Sales to nostalgic older fans alone wouldn't be anywhere near enough to make them profitable (not at Manga prices at any rate).

That may be the case, but if you are attempting to prove by induction that he has dubbed all episodes, then it would be required to show via means of substitution that, for any integer n such that he has dubbed the nth episode, he has also dubbed the (n+1)th episode. It would, of course, also need to be supposed that the first episode in the series has been dubbed.

Symbolically, the schema to which I appeal can be written as:

<img src="http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/math/6/7/0/670905f48d645b0348d920cc4956d8fc.png" width="450">

where P denotes the statement to be derived, and k and n are natural integers. Arbalest will be able to address any questions that may remain.

Cyber City Oedo 808 was the shit! This really needs to get a re-release. Shame that I presumably threw out my VHS copy years ago.

808 was used as the music video to a Nero track.

You could probably market them as 90's classics or something. This ain't yer little brothers anime, or something like that XD

Yet they want to release Dragonball Z?

DBZ is probably more saleable as it can be presented as a classic of "long running shonen fighting shows" which probably account for most of Manga's profit these days. I can see the younger Naruto and Bleach fans going for it, which is probably Manga's plan.

The whole 're-release of 90s classics' idea is nice, but I doubt it'll happen.

In my experience, most anime fans don't really care about 'how old' a particular show looks. Take a look at things like the original Gundam or Macross. Some of that animation is pretty ropey against today's standards, but folks love 'em just the same.

A bigger problem is that some of those shows - let's be honest - just weren't that good. And they'd have a tough time competing with more exciting, recent licenses.

I would do anything to see the old Guyver series again.

Now THAT I can get behind and would fully endorse.

I'm of the opinion that Guyver is fun in all it's forms. If the old series were to resurface on DVD, I'd be all over it like a bad rash.

If it was old stuff that hadn't been released on DVD with subs yet, I'd be in. I've bought most of the old VHS material since though, either from here or the US for the most part, and I'd not be that interested in double dipping.
