Well that match was interesting, congrats Chelsea.

I'm hoping for a Bayern - Chelsea final! It's looking more realistic now!

I'm still recovering from that Busquets miss in the last second! Great disciplined performance tonight. We rode our luck and I'm glad Barcelona's finishing was so wayward. Gonna take even more concentration in the away leg, still I'm very happy after tonight!

I think I called that game pretty well on the previous page! Still a mammoth task for Chelsea, but they've made it exciting at the very least.

Well I've put my university work to the side, ordered a gigantic mixed grill, put some lager in the fridge to chill and am ready for the semi-final tonight. I get the feeling Barcelona are going to unleash hell tonight so I'm hoping that we can somehow withstand it and nick an away goal on the counter. The multiple players on yellow cards worries me a little bit, the players have to stay disciplined. I reckon it'll be 2-1 to Barcelona, with the away goal seeing Chelsea through.

Go Chelsea!

If they can't manage a straight win like last week, i'm hoping they can hold out for a draw so they win. The keeper made some good saves last week so he is obviously capable.

Good win for Chelsea but at what cost (4 players banned for the final)

If Bayern make it to the final....they have 7 players on their last yellow cards and still have to play Real Madrid.

So it's possible if they make it through, they could have a few suspensions too.

I don't know if any RM players are in danger of missing final should they progress. We'll find out tomorrow.

Come on Bayern!

Yeah but the others are Ivanovic, Meireles and Ramires who will be missed.

I think Gary Neville's orgasm at Torres' goal sums up my feelings right now! What. A. Match. I have no idea what JT was thinking with that knee but whatever, I still can't believe we pulled that one off. I don't know what's going to happen in the final with so many key players missing, but we'll get to that when it comes. Surely Di Matteo has done enough to get the permanent job?

Why would someone, when referring to the team one supports, say 'we' and not 'they'?

Surely Avram Grant a few years ago shows that unless Di Matteo wins the Champions League then there is no guarantee of a permanent job (remember they haven't qualified for next years competition yet).

As for JT's moment of madness - since José Mourinho took over at Chelsea certain players have had a habit of doing things like that but more often than not got away with it.

Against Barcelona though JT's red card seemed to improve Chelsea defensively as instead of trying to close players down they just kept their positions making it harder for Barca to break them down.
