According to a press release over at DVD Times, Manga UK have again pushed back the release date for Production I.G's Dead Leaves (it was originally slated for a release in October, and then early November). This hyper-stylized and ultra-violent anime OVA is now penned in for a UK release on the 15th November.

Manga UK are also branching out into live action territory with several Japanese boxing movies dominating their November release plans (including 'Tokyo Fist' and 'Choke').

It's ultra-violent in a very comic book style (like Itchy & Scratchy from The Simpsons) and removes the sense of 'modern' reality that would have disturbed more people. I guess the 15 certificate reflects that.
