The first teaser trailer for the anime movie adaptation of the novel Fuse: A Gun Girl’s Detective Story (Fuse Gansaku: Satomi Hakkenden) has been released and it looks exciting.

The movie is based on a novel written by Kazuki Sakuraba, author of the Gosick light novels. In the story a teen girl named Hamaji hunts dog-human hybrids known as Fuse. Directing this project is Masayuki Miyaji (Eureka Seven, Xam’d: Lost Memories), Ichiro Okouchi, the scriptwriter for the Berserk movie adaptations, is handling the script for this movie and music comes from Michiru Oshima (Le Chevalier D’Eon).

The film will be released in October.

The second half or so of GOSICK was very good, I shall definitely keep an eye on this.
