Even if I had posted twice as much in March as I did in January, it would still have been pretty much the quietest month ever, yeah.

So it's two days till the end of the month and we've topped the 3000 post mark, perhaps not through the best of means but it is the second highest amount of posts in the last twelve months.

Good job AUKN?

Raises his glass.

I was actually quite impressed that imageshack lets you upload multiple pics at the same time now, Flickr-style.

Photobucket is my poison of choice. I dislike that Flickr is integrated into Yahoo so much.

I prefer Dropbox, you just dump your files (images,sounds or text files) into the dropbox folder on your desktop and it's automatically uploaded to the internet, so all you have to do is copy the 'public link' if you want to post it places.

I like the sound of this idea, please tell me more about this "internet" of which you speak so highly.

No, seriously though, that actually sounds quite good for random crap like this, might have a look.

So I was looking at the statistics page and couldn't help but notice that this month there have been 4-5 times more new members than the site usually gets. Is this what chaos has been doing in his absence? Bribing people to join the site, possibly with "favours"? (I believe this is how he got Aion to sign up.)
I like that.

That's... a disappointingly boring reason. I really wanted to believe in my chaos theory ;_;

Thanks for your faith in me.

Out of Chaos comes order. Well at least when he can be bothered.

it's more about having the time, than anything else.

Dracos wrote:
There are a couple of UK based podcasts so I wonder if we could get one of them to name drop the site or Chaos could do an interview with one about running an anime and manga forum. We could also sponsor or put forward ideas for a panel at a convention.

Mmm, I like this idea. We could do something like this.

ilmaestro wrote:
Ooh, a panel at a convention would be *ace*, I've always wanted to run one. No idea what it would be about, mind. ^^;

Then let me know if you'd be up to and I'll be happy to negotiate something with organizers.

I'll give chaos a good kick on msn later on to get him to have a look through this topic, see if we can get him to deal with some ideas

I come here more often than I do MSN. I do check facebook every once in a while, as I can access it easily from my phone.
