Studio Canal to release four Miyazaki films on Blu-ray steelbook

There are a few occasions where UK anime fans may feel that they have received the short end of the stick in comparison to anime releases in other territories. Fortunately. The criticially acclaimed films of Studio Ghibli are not among those occasions, as distributor Studio Canal has made sure to help spread the love of the company and their films and now is no different.

Listings have emerged on Amazon revealing that Studio Canal is planning on rereleasing four of the recently retired Hayao Miyazaki’s films on blu-ray, in the lucrative Steelbook packaging. These four titles are all due for release on 25th November, 2013 with two of the four being the classic Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind and My Neighbour Totoro, with the other two being the more recent Howl’s Moving Castle and Ponyo. All of these films have previously been releases on the blu-ray format.
