Kaze UK To Release Nisekoi This April

Last year, Aniplex and SHAFT blew expectations out of the water with their beautifully coloured and splendidly choreographed television anime adaptation of Naoshi Komi’s hit romantic comedy manga Nisekoi: False Love.

The Weekly Shonen Jump series tells the story of Raku Ichijo and Chitoge Kirisaki, two heirs of rival organised crime families who despite hating each other’s guts, are forced to pretend to be dating in order to avoid a city-wide mafia war! Of course, being a teen romance series means that there are more spanners in the works than conflicting criminal syndicates, like a promise made to a mystery girl ten years ago…

Last year, Aniplex of America started to release the series in the United States and now, we have news on when Akiyuki Shinbo’s adaptation will be hitting the shores of the United Kingdom. Last night, Manga Entertainment revealed on Twitter that they have licensed the series and will be releasing it this summer. A clarification made to UK-Anime has confirmed that the series will be distributed courtesy of Kazé Entertainment. The series will be released on both DVD and blu-ray over two parts, with the first ten episodes scheduled for release on 20th April 2015.

Will you be buying Nisekoi?
