The Case of Hana & Alice Anime Information
Information on the website for the anime movie, The Case of Hana & Alice (Hana to Alice Satsujin Jiken) has been updated with a trailer and details on the cast.
The Case of Hana and Alice is the prequel to the 2004 live-action film which followe the lives, loves and friendships of two high school girls named Hana and Alice. Both the live-action film and anime are written and directed by Shunji Iwai (Love Letter, April Story) and both films star Yu Aoi (Megumi Takani in the live-action Rurouni Kenshin) and Anne Suzuki (Haishi in Tada’s Do-it-All House) as the girls at the centre of the story, Alice and Hana respectively, although for the anime they are lending their voices.
Other cast members who have been revealed include people reprising their roles from the first film like Tomohiro Kaku star of the indie film Homesick and Tae Kimura, an actress who has shown how versatile she is with performances in Monsterz, Zero Focus (2009 version), Starfish Hotel. Other cast members include Haru Kuroki, Sei Hiraizumi, Shouko Aida, and Mirdoriko Kumura.
The film will be released on February 20th, 2015 and comes at the tail end of the winter 2015 season.
