Ouran High School Host Club – Friday Break Trail
A trailer for the live-action film adaptation of the popular TBS drama Ouran High School Host Club has been released.
Named Ouran High School Host Club – Friday Break, the film will drawn on both the television series and the source, Bisco Hatori’s romantic comedy manga Ouran High School Host Club which follows a girl named Haruhi Fujioka who attends a wealthy school. One day she damages a vase and so disguises herself as a boy to join the host club and pay off the damage.
The teaser trailer reveals various cast members including Haruna Kawaguchi who, in her feature film debut, reprises her role as Haruhi Fujioka, Mariko Shinoda of J-pop super-group AKB48 who takes the lead as Michelle, the half-Japanese international exchange student and Nichkhun of the Korean group 2PM who plays Shinoda’s older brother.
The film goes on theatrical release across Japan on the 17th of March, 2012.
